Ben, here are some decent shots of the Dreadnought. Let me know what you think. With the Dread, the arm needed to be wholly orange or it looked a bit off. I figure Sergeants and Veterans can have both arms orange, to denote their status, much like Crimson Fists have both fists red for the same reason. Let me know if that is acceptable, otherwise I will just keep to the original plan.
Also, on an unrelated note, I will get some work-in-progress pictures up of my downed Guard Sentinel special mission objective piece this week. I am up to my armpits in Marines! I have three commissions on the bench right now I am working on, all of which are Angels of Death. Some, however, have a more unique color scheme than others. Here is a quick shot of a Dread I was working on today, while I was priming some Salamanders. Really, those aren't the best shots. Just quick set-up shots of how it is coming along. The two featured arms are done, but I have a Missile Launcher and Lascannon to finish off.
On a side note, I have a 2000pt tournament tomorrow, so I am gearing up mentally for it. Got ready a bit by converting a Primaris Psyker model into an Inquisitor Lord, since I just plain hate what GW offers for them. I am hoping for a better finish than third this time, so wish me luck. I was not satisfied with the work I had done on the Ultramarines, so I added a bit more to them. Touched up a few details and added paint chipping. They are going to be shipped out Monday, meaning Salamanders are going to be well under way this week coming. Also, I have redone the Lord of the Rings Ent pictures, to be clearer. This model is for sale, for those interested.
Just finished off the Ultramarines Dreadnought, which is apart of a larger commission. The Ent was mostly added so that I could show people I don't just do Warhammer 40,000 models. Expect some WHFB additions and even some Warmachine stuff, if I can find some.
Both of these are works in progress. Just started the Dreadnought, obviously. The Ent base has since been primed, but that shot was mostly a test to see if he would fit. I am eager to get some LotR stuff up in the Gallery.
